Freshmen & Sophomores
All freshmen and sophomore students residing in Loyola, Gonzaga, Campion, Regis,
Jogues, Dolan, Kostka & Claver residence halls are REQUIRED to participate in one of three meal plans. These students are automatically enrolled in the 12 +100 Dining Dollars meal plan. You may change your plan during the first full week of classes each semester by visiting the food service office, 4th floor of the John A. Barone Campus Center. The meal plan prices reflected below are applicable to the 2007-2008 academic year.

Students are given the option of eating any 12 board meals each week served in the Main Dining Room of the John A. Barone Campus Center.
$2100 per semester.
14 Board Meals + 50 Dining Dollars
Students are given the option of eating any 14 board meals each week served in the Main Dining Room of the John A. Barone Campus Center.
$2200 per semester.
19 Board Meals
Students may eat all 19 board meals each week served in the John A. Barone Campus Center Main Dining Room with breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and brunch and dinner served Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
$2300 per semester.

Juniors & Seniors
Juniors and seniors living in campus residence halls are required participate in a meal plan. They must choose one of the options listed above (12, 14 or 19 meal plans), or may also choose the following option:

Junior and senior students are given the option of eating any 7 board meals each week served in the John A. Barone Campus Center Main Dining Room.
$2100 per semester.

Commuters
Students who are classified by the The Office of Residence Life and Orientation as
being commuters, townhouse/apartment residents or off-campus boarders may
participate in any of the above plans or the plans listed below on a voluntary
basis:

Please Note:
Dining Dollars, which may be used at any campus dining facility, are NOT carried over from fall to spring in the same academic year, nor do they carry over to future academic years. There is no credit for unused Dining Dollars.
Weekly board meals (12, 14, 19 and 7 meal plans) are good only for the week they are issued and do not carry forward to the next week. There is no credit for unused meals.
Semester board meals (40 and 65 meal plans) are good only for the semester in which they are purchased and do not carry forward to future semesters or academic years. There is no credit for unused meals.
Both weekly and semester board meals can only be used in the Main Dining Room of the John A. Barone Campus Center.
StagBucks, which may be purchased as "add on dollars" to be used after Dining Dollars are exhausted, are accepted at all dining facilities, and are valid until a student's graduation withdrawal from the University. StagBucks are also accepted at the University Bookstore and campus vending machines, and can also be used to pay for additional laundry cycles or print jobs once those allotments have been expended
As part of our Dining Services Program, your StagCard can be used for all dining needs. You will need to present your StagCard for access to the dining rooms and for purchasing at any of our other facilities. Your Dining Service card balance is not transferable from one account to another, and can only be used by you. The card you are issued remains the property of Fairfield University, and can be revoked at any time due to misuse. There is a $25 fine for transfer/misuse.
Lost or stolen Meal Cards
Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. Should this happen to you please stop by the Bookstore. After you receive a new campus I.D. card bring that by the Campus Dining office to reinstate your meal plan.
Seconds Policy
Pick as much or as little as you would like to eat or drink at every meal in the Campus Center Dining Hall.

Guests
Have a guest over for dinner! You are welcome to bring a friend or family member for any meal. Guest meal prices are as follows: Breakfast $6.00 | Brunch $8.00 | Lunch $8.00 | Dinner $10.50.

How about a slice of pizza from the Snack Bar or bringing a friend to dinner at the dining hall? The StagBucks account program enables you to supplement your meal plan with extra purchasing power for occasions just like these. You can open your StagBucks account by making a deposit, and you can increase your balance as often as you like by visiting the value transfer stations located in the Barone Campus Center and the DiMenna-Nyselius Library, by visiting the StagCard Office, or the online card office, www.stagcardonline.com. You'll never have to worry about not having enough cash in hand to pay for that snack-attack, just present your card at any on-campus dining facility.
Convenience - StagBucks may be used to make purchases at the Barone Snack Bar, Barone Campus Center Main Dining Room, Jazzman's Café, and the Canisius Coffee Bar.
Security - If you've lost cash, it's gone. If you lose your StagCard, it will be voided immediately upon notification with the StagCard Office, x4009, or on-line at www.stagcardonline.com.

Budgeting - StagBucks Cash Account provides an easier way to budget your food dollars. To assist you in keeping track of the money left in your account, a balance displays each time you make a purchase.
100% Carry-Over - StagBucks Cash Account is good for food purchases the entire academic year with 100% carry-over form the first to the second semester. Funds in the Cash Account plan not used during the academic year will be carried over to the next academic year. |
